How to get Disgusting Oozeling
Farm higher-level oozes and slimes for Oozing Bags, then open the bags for a chance at Disgusting Oozeling. Wowhead's Classic companion guide estimates the pet at roughly 1.5% per Oozing Bag. Felwood is a popular farming zone; Wowhead's Felwood guide specifically identifies Tainted Oozes around Bloodvenom Falls as a source of Oozing Bags. Other high-level ooze populations across Azeroth can also drop the bags. Disgusting Oozeling binds when used, so an unopened pet can be traded or sold.
Farm Oozing Bags, not the pet directly
Disgusting Oozeling is contained inside Oozing Bag. The farming loop therefore has two random steps: first get a bag from an eligible ooze, then open the bag and hope it contains the companion.
Wowhead's Classic companion guide estimates the pet itself at roughly a 1.5 percent chance from each bag.
Felwood is a documented Classic farm

Expect extreme variance
This farm can be unusually streaky because the pet is rolled only after an Oozing Bag has already dropped.
Historical Classic comments range from players finding the oozeling in an early bag to others reporting thousands of ooze kills. Treat any calculated average as a probability, not a guarantee.
The companion applies a real combat debuff
Oozeling's Disgusting Aura reduces all of the owner's resistances by 20 and defense by 20 while the companion is summoned in Classic.
That makes Disgusting Oozeling mechanically unusual among Vanilla companions. Dismiss it before combat when the defensive penalty matters.
The unopened oozeling can be traded
Disgusting Oozeling is unique but binds when used.
A farmer can sell or trade an unopened pet, making the Auction House a valid alternative to the two-stage ooze grind.
