About Apothecary Elyra Mournwell

Elyra joined the Royal Apothecary Society for the usual reasons: access to laboratories, unrestricted reagents, and colleagues who understood why a jar marked DO NOT SHAKE was an invitation rather than a warning.

Her fieldwork focuses on living substances that blur the line between creature, contamination, and failed experiment. She documents color, viscosity, appetite, odor, and how quickly nearby adventurers begin regretting their curiosity.

Elyra insists that oozes are deeply expressive once one learns to distinguish a friendly bubble from a corrosive one.

“If it moves, label it. If it bubbles, label it twice.”
