How to get Zergling
Zergling is included with the Skyborne Epic Pack and the Warcraft Forever Collection. The Skyborne Heroic Pack does not include the four companion pets, so collectors specifically after Zergling need the Epic Pack or Collection.
Which Forever edition includes Zergling
Blizzard's Forever package comparison places Zergling among the four companion pets included with the Skyborne Epic Pack. The Warcraft Forever Collection contains the Epic Pack benefits, so it includes Zergling as well.
The Skyborne Heroic Pack does not include the companion-pet bundle. If Zergling is the goal, choose the Epic Pack or Warcraft Forever Collection.
A returning Collector's Edition crossover
Zergling was one of the three companion choices tied to the original 2004 World of Warcraft Collector's Edition, alongside Panda Cub and Mini Diablo. Forever makes the companion available again through its current premium packages.
The creature itself comes directly from Blizzard's StarCraft universe. That crossover identity is part of the pet rather than later Warcraft lore.
The WoW Pet Journal describes the zergling as a small but fierce member of the Zerg swarm, preserving the pet's StarCraft identity inside World of Warcraft.
