Speedy
Speedy is one of the three permanent Vanilla Classic companion pets offered at the end of the original Children's Week orphan quest line. Both factions can choose the Turtle Box after returning their orphan to the faction orphanage.

How to get Speedy
During Children's Week, characters level 10 or higher can begin the faction orphan quest line from Orphan Matron Nightingale in Stormwind or Orphan Matron Battlewail in Orgrimmar. Complete the sightseeing and errand quests with your orphan, then finish A Warden of the Alliance or A Warden of the Horde. The final quest lets you choose one reward: Turtle Box for Speedy, Piglet's Collar for Mr. Wiggles, Rat Cage for Whiskers the Rat, or Curmudgeon's Payoff for 5 gold. Turtle Box binds when picked up, so Speedy cannot be traded to another character.
Start Children's Week at your faction orphanage
Alliance characters begin Children's Week with Orphan Matron Nightingale in Stormwind and receive the Human Orphan Whistle. Horde characters begin with Orphan Matron Battlewail in Orgrimmar and receive the Orcish Orphan Whistle.
The original Vanilla quest line requires level 10. Keep the whistle available because your orphan must be summoned for the sightseeing objectives.
Complete the original Vanilla orphan route
Alliance players take their orphan to the Westfall lighthouse, the Bough of the Eternals in Darnassus, and the Stonewrought Dam. Horde players visit the Lordaeron throne room, the frontier at Mor'shan Rampart, and the Ratchet docks.
The route then continues with Jaina's Autograph for Alliance or Cairne's Hoofprint for Horde, plus You Scream, I Scream... before the final Warden quest becomes available.
Choose Turtle Box at the final turn-in
A Warden of the Alliance and A Warden of the Horde offer the same Vanilla reward choice: Turtle Box, Piglet's Collar, Rat Cage, or Curmudgeon's Payoff.
Choosing Turtle Box gives Speedy. The final quest grants one reward choice, so selecting Speedy means passing on Mr. Wiggles, Whiskers the Rat, and the 5-gold payoff for that completion.
Speedy cannot be traded
Turtle Box is unique and binds when picked up.
Unlike many vendor or crafted companions, there is no Auction House shortcut. The collector who wants Speedy must earn and select the reward on that character.
