How to get the Musical Gustjumper

The Musical Gustjumper is found on Zephras Isle around 51.5, 72.3, above the waterfall south of Thendal Village. The spot is reachable very early in the Skyborne starting experience.

Find the group of frogs sitting together on the rock and use /sing. The frogs respond, disappear, and a clickable frog appears nearby on the log. Click it to receive the Musical Gustjumper.

The full process

  1. Travel to the waterfall area on Zephras Isle around 51.5, 72.3.
  2. Find the group of Musical Gustjumpers sitting on the rock above the waterfall.
  3. Target one of the frogs and use /sing.
  4. After the frogs respond, click the frog that appears nearby on the log.
  5. Receive the Musical Gustjumper companion.

Another hidden emote companion

This is the second confirmed Forever companion we have found that uses an emote as part of its acquisition. Excitable Slime responds to /dance in Undercity, while Musical Gustjumper responds to /sing on Zephras Isle.

That pattern makes emote-driven interactions worth watching as players continue exploring the beta.

A Zelda reference on Zephras Isle

The group of singing frogs closely references the Fabulous Five Froggish Tenors from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Warcraft Tavern and player reports have both identified the reference.

Beta status

Musical Gustjumper is obtainable in the WoW Forever beta now. As with other beta discoveries, its location or interaction can still change before launch.
