Do not confuse it with the Razorfen Kraul gopher
Historical player comments sometimes confuse Brown Prairie Dog with the temporary gopher used for the Blueleaf Tubers quest in Razorfen Kraul.
They are separate creatures. Brown Prairie Dog is the permanent companion learned from Halpa's Prairie Dog Whistle.
A complex system of burrows protects the prairie dog from its neighbors' massive hooves.
